Anyone have it where it’s just loud in your head? Voices, past conversations, things I worry about, things that could happen, and it just seems loud somehow?
This has been happening to me more and more, which makes a not so fun challenge when trying to sleep.

I think I know what you mean. It seems loud because it just won’t stop!! The thoughts just keep coming until you acknowledge one or all and run away with it/them. The less attention you give them the more quiet they will become. It takes time, but isn’t impossible.
You can try talking back to them too. That has helped me. I started telling them “so what”. Like so what if I pass out, or so what if she got mad at me for disagreeing with her 2 years ago. Lol. You just get to the point that it’s the truth! So what! When and if anything happens you’ll be able to deal and cope with it. As for past conversations there isn’t anything you can do about it now.
One thing I realised is that talking back too much becomes tiring but your approach to keep it short works wonders. I do that too when I catch myself. The trick is to catch myself doing this then I stop it. Awareness is tough as most of the time I just spiral and spiral deeper and deeper without realising what I’m doing.
Yes, you are definitely right. The key is to keep it short and cut it off as soon as you can. Like you said though, it’s tough and sometimes the thought hits you just right and before you know it you’re down the rabbit hole. Any progress is still progress though. 🙂
