I was taking Klonopin before, And It did make me feel Weird. After taking them for 2 months it actually got better. Continue to take them as needed or daily and It will actually start working better
Have you ever taken Ativan? I take Ativan and my doctor tried to switch me to kolonopin because they are basically the same. Well I am allergic to kolonopin but not Ativan I guess it's the cutting agent. I took it at night and noticed a half hour or so after taking it I was coughing and gasping for air, but by morning I would be fine for the first week, then I lost my voice and they found out my airway was slowly closing. Always tell the doctor your symptoms right away and let them decide if it's an allergic reaction. Sorry if I sounded harsh but it scared me to think I didn't even think of my meds doing it until he heard me on the phone.
I took klonopin for a couple of years and recently tapered off of it. It helped reduce the ruminating and reduced my anxiety. It took a few days to start being effective and I didn't have any adverse reaction to it. It's a benzo and is addicting from what I have been told. It did not eliminate my anxiety and I still needed therapy and learning all about it in order to overcome it.
