Hi NewUserx, I use deep breathing, meditation, self hypnosis, visualization, mindfulness etc. I do this before I find myself stressed out. We all know what are triggers are but waiting to do something about it before it happens is the key. 2 or 3 times a day, I am in meditation mode. I escape to that quieter place in my mind. It allows my body (muscles and nervous system) to calm down.
Deep breathing is a technique I use throughout the day and evening no matter what I'm doing. It definitely can make a huge difference in keeping your stress levels low.

I distract myself by watching TV, listening to my favorite music, call a loved or a friend. I find it very difficult doing the breathing techniques once I am at the anxious state. (Best to practice when you are feeling good so that it becomes a habit) Good luck!
Hi, I find guided meditation helps me. I use videos on YouTube by The Honest Guys. They’re excellent and Rick, who does the narration, has a wonderful relaxing voice.
