So I’ve started to “float” through my daily anxiety attacks. To feel the emotions which attack me and just not fight them. I feel a huge difference in my day! I take the anxiety to work! I even took it with me to watch the England game ! Finally got out and did something instead of holding back just want the anxiety wants you to do, I didn’t let I win. And I will not let it win. I don’t care anymore about the feelings and distraught. I do have a little more headache but I’m putting that down to the change in my brain. The happy stuff! I’m accepting and doing. Not fearing and it feels good !
Dr Claire Weeks. Thank You!

Excellent, Miss-P74, really excellent news. Congratulations. Keep doing more of the same and let us know how you're doing. You're on your way up the Yellow Brick Road that leads to recovery.
😊❤️ We are just passing on our knowledge and experiences. Trust in the process. We all got ourselves into this pickle (unwittingly) so we can all get ourselves out of it. Everyone with anxiety can recover, they just need to understand what is happening to their minds and bodies, that the symptoms are completely harmless ( just excessive adrenalin) and that fighting just makes things worse.
We can show people how to fish but they have to go out and catch it themselves. 🎣
Thank you Beevee. Truly. I screen shotted your posts and read them over whilst reading the book and Paul David’s website. Each morning is read all and start my day as mentioned in all of them. Accepting the feelings and floating through them.
Yes I still have a way to go. But with the knowledge I now have I’m feeling so so much more better. Can’t belive it! Quite simple once you understand the feelings! No more fearing the fear.
That’s Great! What an accomplishment Feeling slightly jealous 😂. I’m behind you thou! Haha. ✌🏼
Hi Miss. That's awesome, thanks for the encouragement. Claire Weeks is amazing. Though she's gone, her work still helps many including me. I too have made a hard effort to accept instead of fight and react, stare it down, and also feel the difference. It doesn't always work but many times it does and I'll take that! I repeat to myself as often as I need to: I have anxiety but it doesn't have me. Keep up the good work!
Hello! Yes. Her work still lives on very much so. What an amazing lady she was.
You sound as if your nearly there yourself. I still have some feelings too. But I don’t fight them anymore. Like you it doesn’t have me either. We can do this. Perseverance and Courage and remember to float through. Thanks for taking the time to read and reply.
Keep in touch. Love to hear how you get on also. 🌸
