Health Anxiety taking over!!!

So, I had a lipase test done about a month a go because I couldn’t eat. Appetite gone. I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last few months. Well my lipase test results was 9 but the normal levels are 11-51. The doctor didn’t say anything about results. I’ve told her. I can’t eat without having severe pain in my abdomen. Loss stools..back pain..nausea and vomiting. Still nothing has been done. I’ve lost 13 pounds in 2 months. I’m just so scared I have pancreatic cancer. I think I’m going to demand a ct scan of abdomen. Have anyone had a low lipase before. My anxiety is through the roof right now!!!

Hi Jones, 8 months later may I ask how you’re doing? I too am fearing pancreatic cancer. My lipase was elevated when I went to er for chronic diarrhea. They said that most likely I had stomach inflammation due to being sick. My dr rechecked my lipase a week later and it was within normal range. So I tried to start easing my fears and started exercising again. 3 days into it and I woke up with severe rib pain and now I’m convinced all over again it’s cancer.
