I've been having sharp chest pains every now throughout the day today and I've now got a really achey left forearm and heart burn. I'm so scared I'm going to have a heart attack that I'm not going to sleep tonight. Im so frustrated because I can't tell if it's just my anxiety or something is genuinely wrong because the pain I'm feeling is real!

Think I'm having a heart attack
Hi scxrpio, Looking back over your posts, I see that you have had a lot of concerns over your heart in the prior months. Since we are not doctors, it is always in your best interest to go to the nearest ER to be checked out, especially if you feel it is different this time.
We want to keep everyone on the forum safe. I wish you well. Let us know how you are doing. xx
Oh no really? I was just beginning to calm down but ive had an achey arm for hours now and I weird tingling in my chest!
I’m feeling the same. My right arm has been very sore (I know with heart attacks it’s the left arm but tell that to my anxiety), I’ve been getting heartburn for a few days now really bad, and I swear I just had a weird pain in the middle of my chest. I just about had an anxiety attack and now I’m afraid that I’m going to die. I hate this!! It’s the worst feeling. 😔
I did have a heart attack and it wasn't what I thought it would be. I was very stressed that day and didn't feel well in the evening and hadn't eaten or drunk much. Really I just hadn't looked after myself that day, circumstances took over. I dropped my Mum off late evening and picked up a very heavy shopping bag and it was as though I had pulled all the muscles in my back. I just left the bag and drove home! but the pain spread to my shoulders and then down my arms, a dull ache. I got home 20 mins later and when I got out of the car I was breathless and couldn't settle, the pain just got worse. My daughter called an ambulance and they did a few checks and gave me an aspirin and other stuff and took me to hospital. I was in denial it was a heart attack but it was. I stayed in for a few days, they did loads of checks and angiogram etc and found nothing wrong. They said it could have been a blood clot that cleared but I think it was low magnesium and other minerals. I went to a natural doctor after a few weeks as I had awful anxiety and I was very low on magnesium and potassium and zinc. Within a couple of days I was feeling much better and my anxiety went. Lesson here - do call an ambulance, they are very reassuring and I called them once, they did the tests and I was having palpitations but it was low potassium and I now take a potassium supplement and eat more bananas. But I was reassured. There are lots of things it could be. I also had costo chondritis after going a bit mad at a fitness class, I got inflammation in the sternum area and was tender when touched. Go and see someone, get it checked and then go see a naturopath who will sort out your anxiety. Never ever be afraid to call an ambulance, just do it, we all get scares, its a part of life but get help. I am still here, nothing was done. I am 61 and low thyroid.
