Anxiety on Vacation

When I was little I flew on planes all the time and I was fine with it, I loved planes, however, ever since a few years ago I throw up right before the plane takes off. For the past few years that’s been it. I feel fine after I board, I feel fine in my destination, everything is all good. But lately I continue feeling sick and even more sick. For example, I went on a 18 hour flight to my destination and I spent two weeks there. I have been waiting my whole life for this trip. However during it I felt so sick. As soon as I got on off the plane my stomach hurt, I was nauseous, I was dizzy, lightheaded, but every time I went into my hotel room I felt completely fine. So I ended up going on tours and sleeping on the buses just so I wouldn’t feel so sick (plus it helped for the jet-lag so that’s a bonus) and then whenever the bus stopped to show the tourists stuff I would wake up for that. It was so annoying because I wanted to take photos and enjoy my time but I felt like everything was spinning. During the second week I wasn’t as nauseated anymore but I still had almost constant dizzy spells (unless I was in a hotel room) and then as soon as I got on the plane to go home I was fine again. Then one of my connecting flights got cancelled and I had to stay at the airport hotel on the way home during a tornado warning and that night was so bad. My stomach hurt, I was so nauseous, I was so dizzy, my heart was racing. It was awful. I did really enjoy my trip though, but I really wish I didn’t feel so sick. Can anxiety even cause dizzy spells, nausea and stuff? This sick feeling has also affected me while I’ve been home and caused me to miss a lot of school so If anyone knows what I can do to stop it please let me know. Another thing I get is blurred spots in my eyes, just like areas where I can’t see and everything is grey, they only last a few seconds, I read somewhere they can be caused by adrenaline putting pressure on your eyes. So is this all anxiety or is there something else? I really hate this sickness.
