Anxiety can go on for months.
Go see your doctor, put your mind at ease.
Hiya,i have these sensations everyday.especially the ground moving/lightheadedness.if i think about it it tends to be really bad.i almost tell myself i will get it so obviously i then do.
Heart palpitations, skipped beats etc are so common with anxiety.and again i find the more i focus on them the worse they get.my doctor told me that even though they can feel awful they are harmless and just an over sensitised nervous system.
See your doctor by all means, I'm sure he or she will say it's anxiety. It will give you some reassurance but after a while you'll probably think you know better than him or her and that they've missed something and continue worrying and stressing.
I have all those heart symptoms from time to time, always related to a stressful event. I know they're nothing serious and will go if I pay them little attention: I don't fear them so I spare my nervous system from getting over sensitised and what do you know after a day or two my heart beat returns to normal.
Thanks jeff1943, nice to hear from you . Hope you’re keeping well.
I Just can’t think at the moment what’s stressing me , other than just being super busy , usually I can pinpoint it to something and put it down to that .
I try not to go to the GP much these days, for one you can never get in or see the go you want and two they run tests and then I get stressed about results so makes everything worse lol ! I’ll see how I feel over the next week or two .
I mean, these symptoms can be due to anxiety, but the fact that you get lightheaded and like the ground moves could suggest something else. What’s your blood pressure like? And have you heard of PoTS? (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)
