Feeling worst on Lexapro

Day 2 and it's been so terrible

I had a massive panic attack and cant eat. I feel at my worst than before

Hi Amytat,

I was on lexapro on and off for about 13 years and it was a life saver to me. anxiety symptoms can get worse before they get better during the start up phase and I know that’s hard to hear but stick with it! Your doctor should have given you a benzo to help you through this time. I would also recommend counseling as well as it is really beneficial! Good luck!

Really? I had it last year but cant remeber feeling this way.

It's so shit I feel like I'm dying every min

How long does it take to get there

I think it took me a couple weeks each time I went back on it. I had Xanax to help get through that time but only took it a couple times. I think it was more of a security blanket for me. It stopped working for me and I had to switch over to Zoloft last year which has been pretty good for me so far.

Oh that's good it's working. But wish we never went on them.
