Not able to cry

Does anyone else have this problem? I get so bottled up and crying use to be such a relief but for the past few years I can’t. I hate that I’m getting so jaded to the point where I am emotionless.

Yes I take Citalopram.

That’s why you are unable to cry Hun. I take paroxetine & it does the same to me. I think most SSRI’s do that. How long you been on it? X

No worries, I used to get relief from crying too but I feel emotionally numb since being on meds. I wish you all the best x

Yes. I wish I could cry to relieve my anxiety and panic but when I am in the middle of a panic attack all I can do is grip a pillow really hard and pray for relief.
