Feel as if my heart pounds fast and moves up and then stops happens every once in a while is this anxiety

hi! this happens to me too. what i do is remove myself from the situation wherever i may be- usually my room is the best place. i just turn on my fan and make it cold and dark in my room and listen to music. or take a cold shower. let me know if this helps!!
