Hey guys back again! I been so good not worrying about my heart but since last week I been going to gym to get back to my normal weight. So I notice ever since I went back to the gym when I lift something heavy I feel heart flutters, as I’m doing cardio for 45 mins I don’t feel anything at all? Just when I lift something heavy or bend over I feel them and also sometimes when I’m walking I have some flutters for a min then goes away. But again this is happening when I’m active working out or just picking up something not that heavy. But has this happen to anyone? Please would love to hear some comments. Also I been having chest pain on and off but it’s the way I’m sleeping. Because last month I went to my cardio did a ECG everything was normal and also I have a loop recorder that’s monitored so when I ask the doctor did you see anything on my report because I had some symptoms and they say it’s all normal?? I dunno it’s so weird but again this all started when I started going back to the gym. Thanks everyone for your helpful comments. Hope someone went through this and knows!

Heart palps and fluttering
Worrying about things !!!. If you're not strong enough to lift weights then don't. It could be anything. Magnesium, sodium and potassium deficiency can play havoc with your heart. You won't have a heart attack or anything it's just a symptom if deficiency. Buy a multi vitamin/ mineral supplement.
I’ve had this too, could be something to do with oxygen and the heart having to pump more blood the the muscle to lift the weights. I too don’t get the heart thing doing cardio but I do if I do leg work mainly but have had it doing upper body. I really don’t think it’s anything to worry about as you have seen cardiologist but maybe mention it to one of the pt experts they may be able to give you a more detailed explanation then me!
Well done tho for getting down the gym it makes a huge difference to these stress and anxiety feelings, I was in the gym 6 days a week up until 8 months ago now I just can’t bring myself to go. One day......
Try lifting lighter weights and doing fewer repititions. Also, rest longer between sets.
It could be stimulating the vagus nerve. It happens to me a lot when I bend over, especially if I bend and pick something up. At least that's what my cardiologist told me it was.
This has happened to me countless of times! I find that if I think about anything with the heart it can trigger the flutters even at the gym..also , breathing counts..I found that usually when I bend to pick something up or lift weights I hold my breath it's almost like it's subconsciously ..make sure to breath when using weights and that should help the flutters ..stress before the gym can trigger it as well ..mine have almost went away with mindful breathing
