After having lunch specially after consuming wheat, I seem to have fast heart beating with hot feeling in stomach and I can feel the pulse beating fast in my throat and head and also feel little weak lightheaded dizzy and fatigued and breathing is also little impaired find slight burning in left shoulder too with slight jaw fullness and this lasts for about 4 -5 hours easily What could be the reason..I don't think it's anxiety or panic cuz I've taken meds before the prob is still there after eating even if I take anxiety meds..is it relating to something I'm eating or something else..please help in not able to work due to this problems.

Stop eating wheat of any kind in anything for 21 days. The gut sets the heart off a lot. Listen to your body.

this has been my experience for many years. I have lost out on many after dinner events because I ate something that I was sensitive to and my heart went off, and I got scared, then my gut went off.

I have learned NOT to eat any of those things ( including a hot fudge sundae) before any potential activity or event that I want to attend.

Chicken and rice are my friends!

It could certainly be a reaction to what you are eating, or anxiety about what you are eating, or anxiety about what will happen after you eat. It wouldn't hurt to see a doctor regarding allergies. Many people have allergies to wheat. However, it sounds like you are having a lot of physical symptoms related to anxiety. I would see a doctor and go from there.

No. I don't have the same problem when I eat rice for lunch or may be even eat fruits in that case I feel quite normal with very lil acidity.i don have any stomach or head symptoms..I can still manage. I don't know why eating wheat sets off something..I suspect there's something going on..may be iam intolerant to wheat with anxiety..I admit am a little anxious person with panic..but anything with wheat or wheat products I bloat and have lot of symptoms..pls help me.
