Has anyone tried herbs for your adrenal gland such as “adrenal sense”. I just started it today and it has great reviews so I’m hopeful about the results

Beachy7, there are only three ways to overcome anxiety: medications, face to face talking therapy and self-help literature written by people who know what they're talking about. I've never heard of adrenal sense. O.K., it may be most beneficial, do let us know if you try it, but do bear in mind that people with anxiety disorder are very susceptable to people selling magic potions.

Very good reminder for so many of us who hope in anything that might help. Maybe a "placebo" can work sometimes. As long as the placebo herbs do not contain any strongly allergic elements......

But I am taking a blood pressure medication to help prevent horrible nightmares, per VA recommendations for its PTSD members, so go figure....how did they ever determine that connection?

I take a med to help reduce the chance of nightmares....The VA believes it lowers adrenalin. What is "adrenal sense" advertised to do?

It claims that the adrenal glands get exhausted from any anxiety illness and that it can help maintain a state of “calm” while also helping you to get a restful sleep. The one I’m taking is for women tho I’m sure there is a men’s supplement as well.

I did sleep well last night. I usually don’t have problems sleeping tho. I only took one pill and I have heard people take up to three a day.

I did have a strange dream but I have those sometimes? Might cautiously continue to take it just to see the benefit.

I know there is no magic pill - I have struggle

Off and on for 25 years or so with CPTSD , anxiety and panic attacks. Thru prayer and my faith I was free of it. I know with hard work It will get better. This was just something new I decided to try

Reason I asked, of course, is I am taking something to lower adrenalin to fight the nightmares.
