It’s back again!

My anxiety is playing up big time. I keep getting a burning sensation in my hands shoulders and lower legs and muscles spasms in my face. I’m trying to put on a brave face in work but it’s really getting to me. Going to take a couple of beater blockers and see if it helps :(

Hi Mark I sorry to hear your feeling so awful. Have you tried using the headspace app, there are meditations on there that really help. You may think it wont ( I was convinced it wouldn't ) but it does I promise. I go to bed early get comfy put in my headphones. I have been prescribed beta blockers and am too scared to take them.

I will give that app ago tonight thank you! Don’t be scared of beater blockers they help a lot I’m on 10mg and just use them as and when I really need to and with in half a hour I’m ok again. Give them ago :)

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time. When I’m finding it tough at work (I’ve explained my problems to people I work with which I find helps massively) I take myself for a breather for 5 minutes and just have a few sips of water. Hope you are feeling somewhat better now

I’m a driver so I’m on my own most of the time anyway but Thinking about it that’s probably the problem because I’ve got time to think with little distraction lol I do feel a bit better now though thank you for your message hope your doing ok :)

Ah yes I can imagine that is difficult my partner is a lorry driver and is away all week he says it is very isolating and you do think because you have the time to. Perhaps radio (suppose you already do that lol) or making plans for things instead could help. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better 🙂 I’m doing ok today thanks it’s a positive day for me

It’s mad though I could be listening to music or focusing on work and then just out the blue I’ll get like a head spin or something and then I just go in to panic mode lol it’s funny when you think about it after but at the time you think what the hell was that!!

I know what you mean. I had a head spin the other night before going to sleep sent me into a blind panic and before I knew it I’d made myself feel dreadful.. no idea what set it off at all! Needless to say I had very little sleep and when I did I had awful dreams. Looking at it now I’m like what the hell but at the time I was a mess. It’s such a bizarre thing really but here we are haha 🙂
