Hi I want to share with you something that happened yesterday
My husband, two year old daughter and I went to a nursing care center to a bingo game, first I was nervous I didn’t know what to expect but when we got there I saw all this old people needing a smile needing a hug and so excited with my kid they wanted to touch her and to play with her, then I realized how many times we get lost in our anxiety and fears and we forget how important and strong we are for people that needs help, when you see all this people you see they are alone and so old that they can’t even walk or eat and then you realize how strong we are and how lucky we are too , some day we will be like them but now we can live and try to enjoy what we have even with our anxiety syntoms they are not going to kill us but they can make us have a hard life if we let them.
Try to do something for someone today and you will see how Part of your anxiety goes away

I second that sarellano26, I've always used volunteering in helping me through my hardest times. I certainly got back more than I gave working in the Paraplegic Ward of a Veteran's hospital. From the first time there, I realized that life is not about what we are given but how we react to it. The strength, the smiles were everywhere. Maybe it was put on for me because I'm sure there were tears as well. The thing is in that I walked out of there each week accepting my anxiety as not as horrific as I thought. I'm glad you and family got to experience a part of life we will all reach one day, if we are blessed. xx
