Did anyone get off klonopin
I didn't kick klonopin because I am allergic to the cutting agent but I did kick ativan after 8 years of use and 4 years was at Max dose 8mg a day. I won't bullshit you I still break down every so often (only 3 times in the last 6 months) and take 1mg if I have given ample time (at least 6 hours) for my body and mind to calm down. It can be done but weaning is slow because it's a bumpy ride and cold turkey can kill you. How long have you been taking it? Is the doctor taking you off klonopin? Hope this helps message me anytime if you need anything or just ask a question. Withdrawal isn't pretty and the physical and mental side effects threaten to derail you.
I can't stop crying or being scared. I'm on 2mg of klonopin. I was on 3 but slowly cut down to 2. 1/4 at a time. I'm scared of the fear thoughts physical symptoms. I'm always afraid
Have you had any kind of therapy? This is where mindfulness starts to be helpful. You have to change your whole inner thinking and beat it at its own game. You are strong look you are reaching out for help when you could have laid there and continued to feel out of control. You are obviously in control and making very good choices for yourself mentally and physically.
Oh and I am always afraid too. I promise I have good days I even have great days but really I have some bad and even terrible days still. I live for my good days and in the dark ones I try to find a silver lining or I make one and come on here. I'm not always talkative and I'm sometimes very talkative. Today is a bad (not terrible) day and your post just reminded me of how terrified I was when I started my heavy wean of ativan. My ativan withdrawal led me here and when I'm down I'm here. When I'm upbeat I come to be positive but I have slot of negatives still too.
