keep asuming i have a heart problem wont be able to sleep tonight..

just having my heart beating fast all the time its annoying and feeling my pulse in my body also in my back and behind my head and fingers its always speeding and beating hard and pains that comes for a few secounds then leave i have alot on my mind tonight espically because its my surgery tommarow ugh hoppefully nothing wrong with my heart i hear alot of stories of people not knowing they have a heart issue and have a cardiac arrest so i have all these negative stuff on my mind.

Deep breaths Johnnie. You will be in the best place possible for your heart. The anesthesia should slow your rate. I went in not too long ago for an endoscopy and my heart rate was through the roof. I begged them to put me under to make it slow down because I couldn’t take it anymore. When I woke up my heart was calmer than it’s been in ages. This is a horrible horrible thing to say for anyone with anxiety but this is the thought that I had myself… If something were to happen while you were under you are not going to experience it at all. Physically. They will fix you and you will be fine and wake up. I will be thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers.

I know I get that way too. When I deep breathe it helps s a lot.
