Do you dream every night?

I just want to ask is it normal to dream every night? I dream even if it’s a one hour nap? Is this part of my anxiety?

This dreams are crystal clear and before I close my eyes I say “ I wonder what Dvd will be playing tonight?” I can’t remeber if I have ever slept without dreaming. They are just random dreams, day to day things,, some scary ones had a few of me in plane crashes,

I find them exhausting, while my husband probably dreams 1-2 a year. Would be interesting to see if others are dreamers

It is quite normal to dream at night as well as with naps. The average person has 5-6 dreams a night without having memories of each one. It's the body's way in trying to solve some of life's issues. xx

People dream every night but some people don't remember them. Wish i could remember all of my dreams.

I almost never dream. Probably 1-2 a year like your husband. I’ve never heard anyone say anything about dreams as related to anxiety. This is a very interesting subject.

I don’t dream much but I dream a lot more when I’m dealing with depression and anxiety. They are very vivid and I remember them once I wake up. Taking naps I would dream as well. So weird.

Thank you all for your replies x I guess if im worried about something at work for sure I will dream about it. I have noticed when something is heavy on my mind that will be a dream. The scary thing is some dreams feel so real sometimes I wake with a fast heart, if I am being chased im like wake up! Wake up! And I can make myself wake up before the ending if I’m too scared.

Close my eyes and for sure another dream is waiting for me🙈 I guess I just have a very active brain even asleep,

Everyone dreams it is natural , it would be unnatural if you didn't dream! Thing with dreams are some people remember them vividly others never seem to remember them unless of course they had a nightmare, "Dreams" could be you reliving something special they can actually help you as well as during sleep/Dreams can give you answers to problems you have been at an impasse with. Dreams can also chear you up if you are feeling down, some people even interpret Dreams for you ( just buy the book "Dreams and their meanings")

Everyone remembers nightmares for some reason? I wish you well and Happy New year!

I forgot to wish everyone a happy new year this year! Lol

I dream every night. Alot of the time they are strange dreams or nightmares. I have been told that it is down to anxiety and depression. But i find sometimes its the dreams that make me anxious
