Is itchiness a form of anxiety? I am itchy all over all the time. I have rash on my rear and on my elbows, yet my itchiness is on legs and every where in between with no rash. I have been very stressed a lot.
2018 sucks already. 😭😭😭😭😩😩😩😩

The stress response can cause nerve fibres to do their thing which can cause itching. Also dermatitis and other skin conditions(not all) can all come thro anxiety. I always suggest a visit to the doctor tho...just to eliminate and they may prescribe creams etc to help. Itching in itself is awful....its one of those that you just get rid of one..the next arrives so you end up with the aaarrggghhhh response!!. Anxiety can cause many physical symptoms and itching can be taken care of. If the root is anxiety then that needs taking care of just as much as the discomfort. I'm sorry you are suffering like this, 2018 I hope will get better for you once it's dealt with...anxiety is a long journey and I send my best wishes to you. Janie
I would love to be able to visit doctor but I have extreme agoraphobia. Getting a doctor to do home visits is not easy or getting a good doctor is not easy. I use Eleuphrat cream does not really work but I put it on for the sake of it.
I had agoraphobia for 7 years and if you ask for a telephone appointment first with a doctor and explain why you can't get to the surgery they will advise the way forward. I would also ask when you ring what doctor is better to speak to for anxiety issues...this is your absolute right to ask this. There are sometimes doctors who at university studied certain areas of medicine and they are great with those certain problems. It's just finding one isn't it?. I had the same problem with a doctor but eventually found one who came out. J
Thankyou for those kind words..i do truly hope you get this sorted. 😊
