Hey! It's been a long time since my last post. I was having terrible headaches for weeks and weeks (I woke up with a headache and went back to sleep with one.. painkillers usually didn't help and the pain was so strong it felt like my neck and shoulders and my whole upper body was aching.. to the point where my vision went blurry, I felt dizzy and my ears were ringing.. it was awful). I was 100% sure that something has to be wrong and I was terrified of going to the doctor's to just get the confirmation of my biggest fears.
But I finally did. A week long waiting (I had to keep myself super busy every day not to lose it) and the MRI showed that everything is completely fine. After that? No more headaches. Anxiety, that is, our own mind is a powerful thing.
Just letting you all know that I'm here for whoever feels like they're too afraid to go see a doctor. It took me months. I understand. You're not alone!

It really does show what anxiety can create and your post is prove of that
It is amazing once you get the all clear how the symptoms disappear I have been there many times myself and like you have given myself weeks and months of worrying when just a quick visit to the Doctor could have saved all that
I think sometimes we have to go through these experiences to learn as as long as we do then it is worth the pain we put ourselves through
We have to remember that as much as anxiety can give us so many physical symptoms that we should always get that clarified first by a Doctor and then work on our anxiety
I am really pleased for you it must feel like a weight has been lifted of your shoulders
It's such a beautiful post you wrote. Thank you for your answer! This is the whole idea of this wonderful webpage I think - to share the good and the bad. The things you wrote actually made me feel even more confident. It wasn't easy to believe those test results at first, my mind was telling me otherwise, but this is exactly why I wrote this post in the first place. The healing will come, no matter how long it takes!
O yes watch out for that anxiety because that is exactly what it does , it knows you have the all clear so you had started to push it away so that is how it tries to get us back again by telling us they may be wrong but you know that is not the case they are the experts they will be right with the results
You are right you will get there in your own time , it is not a race and as I always say as long as we take baby steps we will get there and you faced your fear and took some massive steps by doing what you did , don't let the anxiety tell you any different x
Thank you hnna for sharing a positive post. I'm happy for you as well as the others on the forum that you may have given some help to in regards to the power of anxiety. Accepting that anxiety alone caused your headaches gave you the strength to overcome your fears. Enjoy life xx
