Can I have a day without some issue

Today my head tension has finally eased up a lot and my head feels clearer the foggy lightheaded crap is really good today. BUT.. my stomach is bugging me it's always something I'm never free of some bodily issue 😩

But you can get a free day Aazz, or two or three. The possibilities are endless because they come from your anxiety and not a physical cause. The answer is 3 fold. Acceptance that the symptoms are anxiety caused and not harmful, use relaxation to bring down the muscle tightness and deep breathe, balancing both your mind and body in getting into a calmer state.

When symptoms appear, rid yourself of the pain by letting go of the "what if" thought and replace it with "I don't care" "So what" and just be oblivious to it wanting to take control. Give it a moment's thought and release it. Let it float away. The more you do this, the easier it gets to not be entrapped by this Anxiety Monster who wants to control you. Say No to it, Say Stop, Say I don't want this anymore....Hearing yourself say these Powerful words will make the negative thoughts back up and go away.

So Aazz, you and only you have the power to go without a symptom for as long as you want. Hope you give it a try :) xx

Definielty something i need to work on..acceptance..there are some days that its tough...other days are easier..

i guess i personally need to completely get off my mind that my symptoms could potentially be something else( in my case something wrong with my brain as in bleeding or something)

Agora always gives the best advice with my anxiety i find that when im in pamic mood about some symptom ,feeling,thought that all those to do list things like acceptance and say to hell with it completely goes out the door i dnt even remember about those because im in a fear state im longing to break this cycle guess i need to try harder. Its just hard when your in full blown panic 😫

Hi Cwoods, thanks but I only give advice on what I have been through and experienced myself. As you can see in my responses over the last couple years, I seem to be able to respond to most of what you all feel. Anxiety will try it all with each and every one of us until we no longer allow it to control us. We no longer respond, we accept it as the coward it is.

It's near impossible once you are in the throws of full blown panic, in allowing those methods to work unless they have been practiced every single day. The best you can do in an attack in full mode is to deep breathe as best you can. In deep breathing it will slow down the adrenaline rush, the fast heart rate and will calm the mind thoughts.

I use to do a lot of pacing to also reduce the adrenaline. Since there is nothing to fight or to flee from with panic, we need to use up the adrenaline in a different way. Some therapists have even recommended going up and down a flight of steps, again to use up that extra adrenaline energy.

The best solution is having that "me" time every day mid afternoon for a few minutes whether anxious or not. Have your body get use to that feeling of peace and calm. 5-10 minutes a day is enough to make a difference. Hugs, xx

Awww ok since u put it that way i knw im not going crazy on if u can apply that method in a full blown panic attack. I shall try that me time because i truely do not get that at all .
