Anxiety and Brain fog/Confusion

I've never posted before. I had anxiety in my late teens. After several years on propranolol and Citalopram my panic attacks disappeared and I felt 99% fine.

I am now on a daily dose of 37.5g of Venlafaxine. I don't get panic attacks, but suffer from confusion, brain fog, memory loss. I even got taken to A&E as I was confused and didn't recognise my family. I'm assuming it's medication side effects and anxiety, but it seems very strange and extreme. I also have a very faint pulse and often a heart rate of 50 bpm.

I'm seeing my Dr later but not sure what to do. I want to come off Venlafaxine but don't want my acute symptoms to come back.
