Trouble with Grip

The last 2 days on and off I’ve had trouble gripping stuff with my right hand...Maybe I’m too aware of it? But I also am so worried of a stroke all the time then of course this feeling happens. Is it part of anxiety? I often get muscle weakness in my right arm as well and it’s the arm I sleep on every night not sure if that has anything to do with it either? Please let me know cause I keep worrying thanks

I had this same problem for months, and now the less i pay attention to it the less i notice. I also have carpatunel, so my grip is weaker then it used to be on both hands, but of course i was freakin out thinking it was more. I type all day and notice if i'm on my cell phone to long my hands will cramp and get weak. Are you noticing you are on your phone more even the placement of your arms holding the phone will do this.

Oh okay thank you very much that’s good to know 😊 Yeah like I slept on my left side instead of my right last night and when I woke up my arm was still tense having it now still and my mouth muscles felt heavy this morning which freaked me out I’ve been trying to get myself into a calm state. I always worry it’s like a stroke or something but I don’t want it to be that. It feels like when I go to close my fingers to my palm it feels like a pulling down the top part of my forearm but my left arm doesn’t do that it’s fine. Really weird

Suggest you have a chat with your GP, there are many reasons why this can happen, I occasionally get it myself in my right arm and hand because of too much time in front of the computer, for me it's also a sign of being an old fart :D

It feels like when I put my fingers together to pick something up or when my fingers try to touch my palm the top part of my forearm muscles pull and the movement feels slower than normal. That’s good to know thank you :) I am on my phone quite a lot maybe it’s the position I am holding it in doing it or maybe from sleeping on my right side? Not sure.

Sounds like you need vitamins. Potassium might be low.

This would cause heavy or weak muscles?
