jennifer234, back at work? You amaze me. I'm glad your first day went well considering the obstacles a few put before you. Hot weather does bother a lot of us with anxiety. Try not to let that become your focus. I congratulate you on a job well done physically and emotionally. Hugs, xx
Oh I understand Jennifer. Just meant that you are physically going to work. I know it will take time with the physiotherapist to get back some of your movement. I'm still in awe of you. I don't know if I could have gone forward. I feel I may have just retreated to staying home but then again we don't know until the situation is upon us. Wish you well, one step at a time. xx
There is no point in fearing a stroke or anything in this world. We as people can recover most things our bodies are truly resilient and Able to repair itself with hard work 😓.
My physio said he wanted me walking without support by Christmas,I asked him is that possible. He said anything is possible. Be strong courtflyjay
Congratulations on this milestone, getting back to work
Don't forget to ask for some accomodations to make life at work easier if you need them. You are entitled to them by law.
We have a physio in Australia who promotes positive thinking and moving beyond what you think is possible. I wish I could remember his name so you look at his website.
