Ear Plugged Suddenly?

My ear all of a sudden has plugged in my right side and been having a bit of a warm sensation in it. Feels like water but there isn’t any...It’s making me feel sick to my stomach and getting some head pains am I coming down with something?

Just went to the dr about my bloodwork yesterday and she said it shows I could have some type of an infection in my body not sure where. Now any symptoms I get are really upsetting me cause she said there’s a problem with my blood. Can anyone tell me why my ear would suddenly plug like that? I’m scared 😣

I sometimes get a feeling of blockage in one ear, usually when I've been sleeping on one side. I don't take much notice of it and it goes away.

In your case it might be a slight ear infection which will clear up on its own or if not your doctor will know how to get rid of it. Either way, it's nothing to worry about.

Our bodies are fighting off minor infections all the time, most times we never know it's happening. This can show up in a blood test which is what happened to you. Once again, nothing to worry about.

As for the strange thoughts you mentioned, they are of no significance and no importance, we are allowed to have strange thoughts. Just accept them and don't stress about them and they will stop bothering you.

It has put me at ease. I think I will just try to take an Advil for the headache pain after I have my lunch. I will try not to focus on the feeling I just always worry it’s something much worse (as us anxiety sufferers are all guilty of)

Okay I will just try to leave it alone and see. Is it normal to have a blood test show up with possible infection? I hadn’t even been aware I had an infection then the doctor was saying I’ve been “chronically” getting it which made me feel even more confused. I’ve been worried that somethings wrong with me. My bloodwork showed High White Blood Cells, Red Blood Cells, Lymphocytes & Platelets so she said this would seem like some sort of infection I keep thinking the worst though. I’ve been going through a lot lately cause I had a super bad reaction to Zoloft a couple of months back that absolutely traumatized me. I just want to be anxiety free but doing my best to be naturally.

I will keep just trying to distract myself in the time being. Nice having a supportive community here thanks so much again for your reply.

What I know is that quite frequently a blood test can show an infection somewhere in the body, it's happened to me and they didn't suggest doing anything about it. Did not your doctor give any explanation or suggest why no follow up is necessary. As you say anxiety always makes us fear the worst and exaggerates minor worries ten fold into major fears.
