Need some help and advice?

I did an online test and it said I have severe anxiety, does Anyone suffer with severe anxiety if so what's your symptoms

I have suffered from anxiety for many years now and it is not something I would ever have chosen had I been given any choice. Almost everything you fill in online is not very accurate since your answers constitute what you wish to be the truth when in all actuality they are not. It would be better to consult your GP who would be more objective and provide you with a diagnosis. My anxiety is the worst imaginable because it is visible. I shake and sweat and lose the ability to concentrate and speak properly. Not all people suffering from anxiety do so in this way. I have been under the care of the local mental health team for quite some time and am monitored closely. In terms of treatment, you may be offered some form of talking therapy such as CBT or mindfulness and sometimes, if needed, medication. From personal experience, it is the medication which allows me to maintain a good life although still limited. I wish you well, my friend.

For me, my symptoms are churning stomach, vomiting, weight loss, shaking, shortness of breath, lack of motivation and feelings, feeling like you're here but not here, just going through motions, the list goes on... Definitely get a proper diagnosis from your GP. I'm take an antidepressant, practice mindfulness meditation, see a psychologist fortnightly, say positive affirmations, keep putting one foot in front of the other and pray to God I get through it. I have before, I will again, just frustrating that it keeps coming back and I keep asking myself what is it that I need to learn to get through it... does my head in cos I just don't know... thinking of changing careers but not sure if that will help or if I should wait until my anxiety settles?

Important to remember, you're not the only one even though it feels like it.

Just say to yourself: This too shall pass. Life will flow again.
