Very nervous about starting new job tomorrow

Hi I have anxiety and I’m starting a new job tomorrow in a new place and I’m a bit worried. I left my other job in September that I was really settled in to do a Post Graduate course but it didn’t work out and I left the course in October. I have been trying to find a job back at my old place and I even had an interview but I came second. I have been looking for work ever since and I received this job offer last week to start tomorrow. The job is well within my capability but since I left my original job my anxiety has flared up. I’m worried that I might feel panicky tomorrow and need to leave but I know I won’t get better unless I go back to work. Any suggestions welcome! It’s about half an hour drive to get there too but that’s not too bad.

Hi anyone starting a new job feels anxious even if you don't have anxiety.But you will be fine once you get the first day or two over.just keep telling yourself its normal to feel anxious this will pass as I settle into the job.I bet everyone who works there has felt as you do now.you can do it and you just need to accept the anxiety as best you can it will pass.hope you enjoy your first day at your new job.

Hi thank you for asking. I didn’t go but not for an anxious reason last night a contact of mine said they had some temporary work for me at my old workplace so I have decided to do that instead. It might seem silly but I have wanted to go back since I left. I really appreciate you checking on me though thank you
