Any tips for coping with dreadful anxiety nausea? Struggling to eat and dry retching!

I get the same sandy the nausea makes me unable to eat properly i can only stomach dry types of food like toast and crackers until the anxiety passes it’s also terrible atm as i’m currently switching anti-depressants so the nausea is horrendous right now just managed a few slices of toast for breakfast

Thanks -I'm not on my own then! I've been having liquid foods eg Complan but may try some dry biscuits. Cheers!

I suffer with anxiety sickness well dry heaving ! I take Motilium works a treat settles the tummy down

No definitely not on your own anxiety nausea is a nightmare.Fingers crossed it helps with your nausea

I took travel sickness tablets when I suffered anxiety /nausea .It enabled me to eat much better .

Glad that I Havant suffered either for a long time xx

Hope this can help you and others , remember how horrid it was xxxx

I used sturgeon 15 ( buy over counter , quite cheap , £ 3.50 approx )

Worked for me every time .Hope it works for you .

I found that taking cyclizine & stemetil together helped. GP was happy to prescribe them. Mumsnet is a good place for nausea advice. Hope you feel better soon
