Do you know which lab your test got sent to?
I was tested for babesia which is a co infection of Lyme’s and had it sent to Igenx as they are the most accurate but it took about a month to get the results back
I went to the hosptial last wend with weird symptomns i was experiencing, I had an Mri / Cat scan you name it, they thought I was going to have emergency surgery on neck from a disc but wasnt that, my white blood cell count is still little high which means infection somewhere and no one can pin point it. So the hospital itself wants to check for lyme cause of how i was feeling and now I just wait, I believe their lab does it. What were your symptomns if you dont mind me asking?
I don’t mind😊 it actually started with what I thought was a normal flu....fever achy coughing... feeling run down and a bad headache. Anyway after a week all the symptoms went away except for a bad headache at first the dr thought it was my sinuses but the meds didn’t work so since he knows a lot about Lyme his first thought was babesia because of the fever and then the headache not going away... I did have a ct/mri was which both came back normal, oh and also if you felt my neck and shoulders they pretty much felt rock hard. We didn’t think it was that at first but we finally decided to test for it and it was positive! Should’ve trusted my dr in the beginning 😬 but he was pretty positive that I didn’t have Lyme which is good because if you have both it’s that much harder to get rid of
Anyway sorry for the long reply😜
that is also my number one symptomn I can not get my shoulders to relax for months, my trap muscles are always tight and inflammed no matter how many massages i get and my arms are weak from it.
Aw, I’m sorry! Surprisingly I don’t think it ever made my arms feel tired or my head hurt too much that I didn’t even notice but I’ve gotten health anxiety from reactions to meds so now I can feel muscles tension again which is making me scared that I’ve never really gotten rid the babesia or that it came back ☹️ or it could be plain old anxiety
I have this As well with my upper back. Actually is my biggest problem and I see several people to work it out. It's still won't go away and I had this huge ring like bite on me last year it was assumed to be a spider. Maybe I need to go get tested.
I started with a cold end of June, and my muscles been tight ever since, then a ring like bite in august on arm just figured it was a mosquitoe bite, so now i wait,
Keep me posted! I'll show you a pic if I saved one..of my bite.
I am so tense that my shoulders are always up to my ears and i'll notice and bring them down this goes on alll day long I also have health anxiety cause its been one thing after another but these tight muscles, tingling shaking feeling is what annoying me the most, and at times i feel like my skin is on fire, oh and to add now i have a rash on both my elbows going up my forearms, i cant win lol.
Muscle tension is definitely not fun! It sounds like you could have lymes....although it’s so hard to tell if it’s just anxiety or something else causing all these symptoms! 😕 that that your getting tested for it! My mom had lymes but because she’s had for a long time with out knowing/having treatment she was feeling really sick by then....the good thing about lymes is that doxycycline usually helps lot! And she thinks that she has finally gotten rid of it. Unfortunately with babesia antibiotics don’t help it so I only took herbs/ trying to eat well
I had Lyme disease, took about two weeks to get my result. I had facial numbness, shoulder blade pain, fatigue, headaches, reflux and weight loss. I took the doxy and it did help but it took a while since my anxiety skyrocketed and the doxy did not help that. I still have to take meds for anxiety and a chiropractor helped greatly with my neck, head and shoulder pain. Lyme and all its co infections suck!
Yes, l was tested when my Doctors were literally looking for anything that it could be other than the Roundup
Pesticide used just outside my garden and Drifting into my home and making me so very ill. The test is often conducted so l was told on people who live in areas where there are deer and lots of countryside. The test took a good couple of weeks. Came back negative.
Good Luck with your results! Chloe
