More abuse

I have copped more abuse at work again today over yet another panic attack, which seem to b getting progressively worse. This time co workers threw water bottles at me and hot coffee on my hands. Went to boss to make complaint and she told me to get back to work.its so hard to deal with this on my own. I hate going to work now. Wish it would all go away.

Anyways back to bed I go to cry myself to sleep.

Goodnight.

That is horrible, what kind of place do you work at. My co workers would never do that, plus they understand cause they also get panic attacks.

This is horrible and I would turn that place into the state work force this is harassment and it's getting physical, I'm proud of you for having the courage to stay but in that work place no wonder your having panic attacks!! You deserve better maybe look for a different place to work. Hope you have a better day!

jennifer234, after reading your post this morning, I went looking for some answers for you. I was astounded at work abuse becoming a number one issue in Europe. The severity is so high that the Board of Occupational Safety & Health has now adopted an Ordinance concerning Victimization at Work The abuse you are receiving is called "mobbing" and "Psychological Terror"... It has a true name for it. This has to do with extreme emotional abuse from co-workers as well as management. They suggest leaving the company (if an option for you) because it will only get more serious to your health and wellbeing. But they also suggest (depending where you live) going to the board that handles Victimization in the Workplace. No one deserves this kind of treatment. xxx

This is awful. I am so sorry. Do you have someone at work you can trust and who understands? How do you feel about staying there? My advice would be to put a full complaint in writing if this is ignored go higher (if this is possible). Are u uk? USA? X

Disgusting! Jennifer for every one of them please now there are thousands and thousands of fellow sufferers who would do anything to help you and make you feel better. You are not alone......we are here. Please take care.

Throwing hot coffee on your hands warrants a call to the police IMO. Maybe go to a local police precinct and see what they suggest. Another possibility is to hire a lawyer or a pro bono lawyer and sue. This is way more than harrassment, which I believe is illegal.

Good for you jennifer234. Know that you are doing this not only for yourself but the other " jennifers" in the company. It is not a safe place to work. Good Luck, you made the right decision. xxx
