Swallowing

Anyone else have swallowing issues? Mine comes and goes but last night my shredded wheat got stuck. As it slowly passed with lots of water and patience it cause sternum pain (not cool for those with anxiety). I've been scoped with little findings...anyone else? Suggestions?

DeeM3 I too have swallowing issues. It had started years ago and with the help of meds I had not experienced it in years. This year it has came back. It leaves me a little scared when I'm going to eat, so I think with my fear I give myself more anxiety and I find myself afraid to eat. It's terrible

I'm going to the doctor Friday to discuss anxiety meds. I have so much upper body tension and constant muscle pain that I'm thinking it's making my chest tight as well which is not helping the matter.

I've had this problem for 3years tests confirmed a hiatus hernia was the cause little helps but I find that limiting my wheat and dairy intake helps

I wish they found a physical reason during the scope but the only thing they found was a little bit of reflux.

Yes the last 2 weeks my anxiety has been pretty good but I feel as I have something stuck in my throat and the feeling seems to go further down ?
