DP- Recovered then checking the dp symptoms again

Hi guys. Has anyone felt that you have recovered from DP then one day you checked the symptoms and then it comes back. How can I escape this cycle? Its now my habit checking the symptoms in the morning or anytime I feel better? Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for your reply. I know its bad but I just cant stop myself doing it. Trying all ways to stop it. Probably it has something to do with anxiety. I dont know where to start

What helped with recovery? I been in this hell for 7 months now.

You know sometimes when you get used to something and feel you are sick and tired of it you will just let it happen. I think acceptance is a big factor but thats not the easiest thing to do
