Felt I had a good week. Actually was able to go to a work party in a busy restaurant and go bowling without major anxiety this weekend-then boom-it's back to feeling awful today. The pressure in my head, the unending dizziness, the shortness of breath, and overall panic kept me home from work today.
I've been taking 20mgs of Prozac for 3 weeks and I felt it was helping, but I think maybe I need to up the dose. My mood is improved, but my physical symptoms of anxiety are the same.
Anyone with prozac notice any difference with 20mgs?

Sometimes it's like a rollercoaster with these meds i hear. Might have to up the dose or hold out a bit longer to see if it will settle again? It's all kinda confusing though. Did the med help with the physical symptoms at all?
Ive been a bit more positive. Im sleeping better and my appetite is back. Still a little dizzy/off balance and I have tinnitus...ugh but I'm not feeling as scared by it
Yes! Im seeing him Feb 1st. We are doing CBT stuff. Its helping a little. Im not just panicking for no reason now. Which is nice...lol still plagued by "what if" thoughts every now and then.
Yeah i understand. Thats how I am lol dont feel like doing all the hassle of finding a good therapist, but it will be very beneficial eventually would love if the meds would calm my brain enough to stop the dizzies
Prozac. Yes, I take that. Only up the dose after consulting with your doctor, because it may be that an increase in medication is not what’s actually needed here. I take 20mg too, and my depression is getting very bad, but they’ve said that changing the dose at this vulnerable point might tip me off the edge. It’s great you are feeling like it’s helping, though! Lots of best wishes,
I’ve been taking it for quite a few months, now. It did help at first, yes, but then my depression got a bit worse, and as a dose increase may make things worse, I’ve moved up to outpatient intensive care.
