I have been put on propranolol. My heart rate was like 160 when it's meant to be between 60-80. The doctor said this could be why I get pains in my chest and feel dizzy and lightheaded. I'm feeling very scared and shocked! Is anyone else on this medication? Anyone have the same problem or know anything about it?

I used to take that same medication when I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Do you have issues with your thyroid? I am 24 btw. I was 19 when I started the medication.
