Does anyone ever faint when they get anxious? Lile a really bad panic attack has it caused anyone to faint or pass out? Im honestly terrified of passing out so my biggest fear when iM having a full blown anxiety attack is not breathing to the point I pass out and the fact that when im unconscious im not in control but im pretty sure that your body is in control of itself when you faint and you get back to breathing but what is truly the worse thing that could happen during an episode of anxiety or panic

If I see the worse thing that could happen and its not all bad then I may be able to grasp the concept better of NOTHING DANGEROUS can happen.. but i dont believe it because I truly dont know the "worse" that could happen

I have ask my doctor about this and she said that when you have a panic attack your blood pressure goes up so its unlikely you will faint because of the adrenalin. Its only if your blood pressure is very low that's when you can faint.

Hi the worst that can happen is you would faint if this happens your body takes over and breaths for you as normal ,and because you are now lying down your blood pressure returns to normal and you would then wake up !!!! But I'm 62 and had anxiety and panic attacks for 45 years and never once fainted in all those years.

I am constantly lightheaded and have that feeling like I'm going to pass out but never have and I have had this now for over 2years everyday. Stay strong X. You won't pass put or faint just breathe and count your breaths eg count one for breathing in then two for breathing out then keep going one, two, one, two which will draw your focus to your breathe and will stop your current anxiety or panic.

Yeah i have been trying to practice that its just a matter of facing it full on panic mode that terrifies me im agoraphobic so i cant really go outside of my town with out being anxious i cant even goto the city and feelexcited or anything

Yup, I was dizzy for a couple years and have never fainted. Sure felt like I was though, for so long. Even if you did faint, you'd be fine. I used to play the fainting game when I was younger and I woke up every time. I did it probably 50 times over the course of 2 days 😂 The things we do from watching others.

So when you guys feel your symptoms what do you guys do other than the breathing technique? I hear "grounding" yourself is good too

I can get really dizzy to, but up until now I've never fainted. I've sat on the floor incase I pass out, but haven't actually gone 🌸
