Can anxiety cause you to be nervous going to the bathroom and cause your heart rate to soar sky high ? This is new and it freaked me out and it was only high for about 5-10 minutes after and I started my deep breathing but idk what this is or if it could be heart related.

I get nervous when I go bathroom and that makes my heart race, going toilet increases your heart rate anyway but since my anxiety has come back every time I've gone toilet in the last six weeks it has started again it happens every time I try to ignore it and it has got better but I can still hear it beating fast.

Anxiety has many ways of making people worry. To be safe though, make a Dr appt and get your heart checked out. Feel better!
