Anyone using aroma therapy? Has that been helpful or a waste of time and money?

Hi Darryl. Funny you should mention this, I currently have a bowl with hot water and oils in it with vapors rising to greet my nose. It's an ordinary brand new unused baking bowl, no fancy gadgets. For me personally, I am amazed how much it calms me down and helps me to breathe easier. I am making it a nightly and morning routine. I would make it an all day one if it wasn't for work. This is just my personal experience. I am also having a ball experimenting with different oils. The names can get interesting. It wouldn't hurt to give it a go? You should probably have your answer with purchasing one bottle of oil. Be sure to study what sort of oil you are after ( Sleep aid, breathing, calming etc).

Depends what the ailment is. It does work though but it's only a very mild effect.

I love aromatherapy and find it interesting and relaxing. My favourite is lavender added to a warm bath or in a carrier oil for massage. X

If it is for menopause and sleep I would say Magnesium, like I tell everyone to take it no matter what the ailment. Drs Best Magnesium Glycinate Chelated is the superior brand and type.

I love the oils there soo relaxing for me clary sage lavender bergamot and others are great

I brought a cheap one from Amazon my favourite smell is probably peppermint, rose and lavender. It does work effectively I normally put the lavender one on 2 hours before bed, I think for me the look of it was as helpful as the smell.. the one I got changed colours and it was relaxing seeing the smoke come out. It cost less than £15 which was very good in my opinion.

I haven't noticed much of a difference besides the fact that my room smells really pretty.

I use some aromas to help ease migraines - cirtrus, peppermint, lavendar and ylang ylang - though not all at the same time.
