Overwhelming
Yeah I have it pretty much every night, I also have like muscle spasms in that area that make it feel like my heart is racing but a normal physical symptom of anxiety I was told. It's prob cause you are not doing anything and relaxing and your brain notices it more. Been doctors and hospital and everything come back normal.
Yes, I have this frequently. I try to do deep breathing and take showers at night to try and relax. Sometimes I go for walks during the evening, that helps a bit.
Oh my goodness! Bless you! This was my biggest problem! My heart racing wildly in the night was the symptom that scared me right back into problematic anxiety after I was 90% recovered! I had stopped fearing my other symptoms, churning nervous stomach, chills, cold hands, panic attacks, trembling, numbness & tingling, sore joints in my hands, excessive fear, adrenaline rushes in the night... Then anxiety found this new symptom, racing heart waking me up while I was sleeping, that could scare me. Off to the doctors again. Everything checked out ok, so evidently, it is just another symptom of anxiety. It didn't feel like it for me, I wouldn't even feel anxious at all sometimes and it would just take off like it was on autopilot. I totally thought I was dying. Mine would typically run up in the 140s-150s, but got even higher sometimes. Has yours gotten that fast? Mine slowed down after about 15 mins, how about you?
