Hi, I'm new to this site and I'm not officially diagnosed with anything but I don't know where to go or what to do to find out if I am. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. I've been having weird symptoms lately where my head feels like it's spinning and the world looks like it's... idk vibrating almost and it doesn't last long maybe 2 minutes but it bothers me. It only happens when I'm really worked up about something. And I catch myself holding my breath and not breathing right. Or my heart beating really fast for no reason. My eye lids are always heavy and I want to sleep but when I lay down I can't in the mornings when I need to get up I'm too tired to get up. My hands gets sweaty and shaky when something bothers me enough. It's really weird I'm only 18 I don't know any of you and typing all this up feels pretty stupid. It bothers me though and I feel like I should tell someone about this. Maybe a doctor or a mentor but I don't know what to do really... help? Advice?

  • I went to my doctor and broke down in office. She recommended consueling.

  • Ok thanks you

  • Hello! I would definitely start with an internal medicine doctor, and then they can refer you to whoever they think you need to see. It could be a psychiatrist, psychologist, or they may even be able to treat you themselves. I get my antidepressants through my primary care physician. Good luck! :)

  • Thank you
