I am, the store not even far i made it last time even if i had several panic attack but i made it.... this time i stopped feeling my legs n fell hard on the ground

Callmedanielle, Never say you are a failure. Did you hurt yourself when you fell?

I like your goal, there is always tomorrow or the day after that. You can keep calm but that feeling has to start from home. Using deep breathing and positive affirmations before you even leave, will prepare you for that next step. While walking, continue deep breathing and blowing out the air slowly. It will help slow down the anxious thoughts in your mind. When you get to the store, continue deep breathing while you shop, all the time thinking of the reward when getting home (and that's all those goodies) It differs from one day to another as to how much as can accomplish in going forward.

You did good today because you tried. Always focus on the positive. x

You are going to make me cry. I wish I could have been there with you, holding your hand.. You are going to make it one day. Just don't be so hard on yourself. Let us know the next time you plan to go out. Maybe we can give you some support before you leave. Don't give up. You'll get to that store. x

Take that magical dog with you....know he is large, but not large enough to ride. Why did you think I always walked with my Scooter. I was his wing man. I didn't do too well today, but tomorrow will come in a few hours. You have made it to that store before, you'll do it again. Rea Agora! s reply again, and Jimatom's, and melbrown's and the others.

So, you didn't make it to the store today. That's one day. There are many to come. :)

You have to build a positive image in your mind of going to the store and feeling calm, walking around the store feeling calm, at the register calm and then saying bye and walking home calm. If you just decide to do it of your back you'll end up anxious because you fear it.

That's how I did it. I would build up a positive calm routine in my head over a few days and pick a day and go. I would also wear earphones and listen to up beat music I enjoyed, distracts the mind. Make up a little image in my mind of going and coming home and everything is fine.

My 3 C's

Courage

Calm

Conquer

Have courage to go !

Stay calm when you go ! Conquer your fear !!

Some tips, don't buy a load of sugar and carbs only to get home and eat them it won't help your body over come the stress. Get some almond milk, bananas and peanuts.

But if you most buy your KitKat and all that other junk, just go you can and will do it.

One day can make such a big difference. My husband and I are having the house tented for Florida termites, so we will be gone for a few days to neighbors nearby.....we are leaving the termites, Not certain about the wi fi where we will be, so don't think I'm ignoring you.

My hopeful news is a PTSD service dog trainer is nearby and looks as if she can work with us at reasonable costs business., none of this $15,000-30,000 scam business. So tired of trainers calling us and offering stupid deals, Like, we'll train the dog for all your PTSD dreams and other needs and in 8 months the dog will be ready for your two week training before you make the 4 hour drive home. . Duhhhhhhhhh?

We'll hear more from the sane trainer after a week. Fingers are crossed, As she will schedule the selection of the pup after we tell her I'm really ok about Scooter.

She only trains service dogs and understands how I am feeling about Scooter, and the reality of having another pup being trained for the future. We keep the puppy that she feels is suited for me and me for the puppy, the puppy will live with us and she will come to our home to teach the pup, That cuts out over $10,000. then we will pay an hourly fee for her training with me involved.

Yes see what a difference one day can makes? I just thought I would never be able to have another, Scooter. :)

This was me a couple of months ago couldn't go the corner shop as soon as I got outside my gate my legs would tremble go dizzy felt like I couldn't breath and if the shop was busy I would run back home legs like jelly. But I tell you now it does get better I went that shop a least 2-3 times a days everyday pushed myself all the time it did take a good couple of weeks till I started feeling less anxious. My therapist said stay in the shop till anxiety reduces if you can try not to run out when anxiety is high so I would stay there reading all the products in the shop in my head keeping my mind off it. Today am much better doesn't even scare me anymore. Keep going I know what is like don't give up trust me.
