How do people get their hands on benzos so readily? My doctor won't prescribe them incase I get addicted. But she is happy to see me in her room every week sweating and pulling my hair out. Anyone know any reliable websites where I can get some from? My anxiety shows no signs of stopping And I just need some help!

Websites aren't a safe way to get ANY type of medication. Many are fake, some are laced with dangerous levels of toxic chemicals.

With benzodiazapenes, doctors are extremely cautious because of the easy potential for abuse and misuse. Typically the only medical professional that will prescribe them anymore is a psychiatrist and only then will they prescribe the smallest effective dose.

My psychiatrist prescribed them for me after looking over past medical records and giving me a drug test and assessments to determine the possibility of addiction. She also only prescribes just 7 at a time and I have to call in to be prescribed more. You have to be willing to work with them, truly need them and show you're not abusing them.

That sounds borderline ridiculous.

When you live in a community that's rampant with prescription drug abuse and illegal sales of those drugs, you'd be surprised. It's a pain, but if you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be a problem.

hi Lm92 I live in England and have diazepam 2 mg perscrided to me from our doctors practice as I explained to Sandy1710 but you have to prove to the doctor you will only take them to help you through a really bad flair up of your anxiety ie.when you are not able to function.in fact I had to go back to the doctor because I had stopped taking them as I was feeling better and they advised me to cut them down gradually over a three week period .so had to take half a 2 mg tablet morning and night for a week then half tablet every evening for a week.then half tablet every other night at bedtime for a week.so it was spread over 3 weeks.I then just take as and when required .

Hi sandy1710 They are very addicative but explain to the doctor that you need short course to help calm down your anxiety ! And you will then take one only when required. I explained that when my anxiety gets really bad I can't eat or sleep or go to work and I support myself as I'm divorced.even Dr Claire weekes says in her book that sedation needs to be taken for a little while when nerves are really bad.

I've now started drinking in the evening to take the edge off of things. Much more safe route I suppose isn't it! (Not) Helps me get to sleep. I'm fixated on my heart 24/7. Wish I hadn't been exposed to drugs Friday night. I can't stop worrying. Surely if any damage was done it would of happened by now?? I've probably walked about 30 miles since this happened too. I'm trying to do a pro/con list of my heart and what I think. I used to take the drug a lot willingly before all this started and this weekend I was accidentally given some and since that I haven't stopped worrying. 5 days surely all is fine now!! Darent mention drugs to the doctor they'll tell me to do one!! Thanks for your reply. All the NHS do for me is give me 1 phone call a week cbt. My doc wants me to go to a Psyciatrist but you have to follow a process until that can happen.

Hi Sandy1710 I once said to a new doctor I hadn't seen before when they said we don't like prescribing diazepam as they are very adicitive !!!!!!! I replied back to her so are drugs sold on street corners and so is a bottle of vodka And I don't want to turn into a alcoholic or heroin addict. I would much rather work out a plan with you !!!! I got perscrided them and I have been having them for years my tablets say on the box take as and when required and I only take when I'm really bad.

I've probably had 25 diazepams since I've had anxiety for over a year. It's clear I'm not addicted. They don't get that though. And he majority of them were used on flights between U.K. And us/Mexico last year
