Prozac side affects!!

Hi.. I just started taking Prozac for my anxiety and panic attacks. i have never taken anxiety medication before. I have stomach pains and thobbing..is this normal? Could it be the medication or the anxiety itself ? I've been taking it for 3 days now. Scared!

I was taking fluoxetine and the first few days were horrendous. It will pass! I was grinding my teeth a lot. Suicidal thoughts and brain fog. But it's calmed me down overall

I am on 40mg a day. Working wonders for me. Never had any side effects that I'm aware of.

And I deliberately never read the possible side effects in the leaflet as I believe in the power of suggestion, if this makes sense.?

I've just upped to 40 recently and it's knocked me back some what. Yeah I understand. With the anxiety the placebo effect is very real.

Ooh dear. Give it time. Take after a meal maybe, rather than on empty tummy. Could it be something else, like anxiety causing the problems??

Sorry, obviously it could be the anxiety causing the probs, but maybe you are half expecting problems with new meds. Try to persevere for a week to 10 days??
