Feeling down
Hi Taranicole31404,
Thank you for sharing your story in the forum.
Anxiety can be a real killer when it's not under control. From your information I picked out 4 key things that in my own experience had to be addressed. I have also suggested some other activities which you can do at home (research on the web)
Sleep - without good quality sleep (at least 4 unbroken nights in a week over a period of 3 months) the body and mind are not refreshed and everything else follows on from there
Tiredness - is it from lack of sleep (see above) or from a symptom of your anxiety
Treatment - you mentioned meds - have you had a medication review recently with your doctor? Book a long appointment to discuss what is working or not working and perhaps make some changes.
Are you seeing a psychologist to help with the anxiety? Talking therapy + meds actually works better than meds alone
Work - if the anxiety follows you into the workplace, have you had a conversation with your manager about "reasonable accomodations" that could be made to make it easier for you to do your job. You should not be discriminated against by disclosing you have anxiety. A good reference book is "Working in The Dark" by Fawn Fitter.
Other activities which help - Tai Chai, Yoga, Meditation, writing down thoughts and feeling in a journal
Hoping this is some help for you
