Am looking for best way to deal with my anxiety. I worry and overthink everything!! Constantly worrying about health, danger, things that may happen to the point my son has pointed it out and said he doesn't enjoy doing stuff because I worry all the time. What is the best route to go down??

I understand what you're going thru. I worry about my health sooo much! Im going thru a bad episode of anxiety. I started therapy again. I suggest you look into therapy so you can talk to a professional and they help you come up with a plan to manage the anxiety and then help make it go away where you can start preventing it. But for now, if you can't do therapy. Do everything that makes you comfortable, when you feel you can push yoursef, do it. Start slow then eventually it gets easier. It doesnt go away overnight but the more you work at it, the faster it gets better. YOU CAN DO IT! We all can!
I went to the docs and the councillors there are rubbish but I can't afford to pay privately so feel stuck. It was my son (11) raising it with me that has made me really realise I need to do something. I worry about anything he dies constantly incase he gets hurt and effecting him now.
My mother worried about safety all the time and still does. I was the first born. I grew up having anxieties and suffer from hypochondria as 44 year old man. Think of your child and the nurture aspect of what may be taught. CBT and ssri's Best of luck
I as well worry a lot. I just had some medical tests done and I'm in a bad way with my anxieties. In regards to health you need to get a proper physical from a internal doctor and comprehensive blood and urine tests done as part of it. Not knowing about health problems is the acme of stupidity. Try to help others, CBT and a ssri like Zoloft or Lexapro It sucks but keep reaching out .
What do the blood and urine tests look at?? I suffer from endometriosis so makes my hormones go all over the place. Have doc app next week but they keep offering me same counselling...
I'm not sure why you've been advised to get blood and urine tests either???!!!!
Anyway, back to anxiety! It's very normal to worry about your children, especially at the time when they need a little more independence. I have three children, all grown up now, but I well remember the time when I had to let them go a little. I think you just have to hope you have equipped them with common sense and alerted them to any dangers out there. It's a lot easier today, with mobile phones etc.
You can only do so much, as hard as it is sometimes, you have to give them some independence and freedom, otherwise they could grow up resenting you or, with problems of their own.
Try not to let your worry and anxietit's become obsessive. Try and rationalise the situation............. what were you doing at that age???
If you have a good doctor, talk to him/her and explain how you feel..... medication can help. Also talk to other mothers of children the same age.
The key is not to let your anxiety overwhelm you and make you ill.
Calm yourself when u felt it coming on breathe hard and fast until u can slow down to calming yourself. Try not to if u are on medication to get addictive to using at all times I tried dealing with it at times without meds my doctor prescribe rivoltril tabs to take. I do a little reached and found that my body need magnesium. And I do a aloe vera detox blend the aloes with juice before bedtime it stop my dizziness and headaches
