Could this be anxiety?

I went to take a shower and bent over to turn on the water and got back up, when I got back up, I felt a sensation as if my brain has lost blood flow and I was about to pass out, it only lasted a few seconds, now I can't breath and I'm all panicked, is it anxiety or something else?

Thank you so much!

Is it possible you just bent over too fast and you straightened up too fast? That might have caused you to be light headed.? And that scared you, and was not caused by underlying anxiety at all? I hope so, and hope the rest of the day is calm for you. :)

I don't remember how fast I bent over lol, but I felt bad before I got in the shower and felt a little panicked before, maybe that caused it. Thanks for your reply, I feel a little better now.

Good. I put grab handles in our large shower walls, and the water contoll handles are rather high, so I turn on the shower and let it run until hot water FINALLY reaches it and then get in, so I don't have to bend over there. But I do watch how quickly and how fast I bend over and back up when I transfer the wet laundry to the drier! Have had a few "whirly bird" feelings of light headedness, and seen stars for a second or two doing that. I just hold still and go, "You dumb woman!" and the cat laughs. And it goes away. (the light headedness and stars, not the cat)

As we get older we can develop tiny crystals in our ears. These can move forward within the fluid we have in our inner ear following certain movement changes in our headIe leaning forward or turning quickly etcccThis causes a feeling of dizziness and an almost momentary numb sensation as our bodies try to work out which nerve signals to sort out all the manny signals being passed to the brain. The inner ear is invlved in balance of the body ,and when these things happen you can feel violently ill warm or dizzy to the point of not knowing where your body is is space or even falling down.i suspect this is what happened to you.It has happened to me many times. It passes quickly and it may never happen again.Hope this helps.
