A break through!

So I usually experience intense anxiety when flying and almost always have a panic attack either before, during, or even after the flight. I recently returned home from a vacation and while I did feel pretty high anxiety while going through the airport (a member of my party got stopped by tsa and it freaked me out) besides short term fast breathing and heart rate ( plus my shoulders got really tight and hurt but that didn't bother me) while we took off I didn't feel that bad the rest of the flight. I'm just really proud of myself for not sinking into an attack especially with the hiccup while going through security. I think the reason this flight wasn't as bad was that I told someone before we left and that I would be feeling higher levels of anxiety in the airport and in the plane. Since I did that they kept checking in with me and emotionally holding my hand throughout the journey. Really, I took two steps forward today because talking about my anxiety is difficult for me too.
