Ouch, that does not sound like fun! Have you had panic attacks before?? If you have, then realize deep, deep, deep down (if you're having an attack now) that they WILL pass soon.
If you're feeling OK now, try and research the A.W.A.R.E method/technique to deal with panic attacks. The next time you experience a panic attack, try and remember this method!

Yes I've had panic attacks before and my problem is even though I know I'm having an attack I always think "but WHAT IF" this time it's not an attack it's mentally exhausting

I think you would experience greatly from checking out the A.W.A.R.E method then... it basically suggests that you need to own the fact that you are having a panic attack, not try and prevent yourself from having it.

In conjunction, you should speak with your doctor about the apparent uptick in the frequency. He or she can give you more information on what you might be able to do to help solve the issue.
