The past few months have been quite good if I'm honest. I've been heading back to the gym and just generally doing more and feeling better.
Unfortunately the last few weeks I've started just feeling off at certain times. Usually it's when I'm in front of my computer at work or talking with colleagues. I start to feel a bit spaced out like my body is very light and head is light and just a bit weird. Then I realise this is happening and I feel like I'm going to freak out but I don't and the light and spaced out feelings just come in small waves and then go away.
Has anyone else ever experienced this. Of course during this happening it doesn't help when you start thinking it's something more hats wrong with your body.
Thanks 🙂
Pete

Hi Pete87, Looking back at some of your posts, it does seem that you do get some breaks in between, which is good. I use to get what you are describing as being a bit spaced out, head light and a bit weird. You don't really freak out as the feelings come in small waves and then go away.
My psychiatrist had called it "free floating anxiety". When suffering anxiety disorder, our anxiety level never really goes completely away. And so it doesn't take much to get the anxiety to start building as we are working on the computer, talking with people etc. Not enough to go into a full anxiety attack but just enough to bring on the uncomfortable symptoms.
What finally got rid of that feeling for me was working on my meditation and more importantly my deep breathing. Deep breathing will keep you in sync no matter what you are doing. It will keep your anxiety in check. By accepting any feeling that may come along as not harmful, it never gets to build up to anything. It's gone as quick as it came.
I think if you work on your anxiety at home in the evening, you will be better prepared for any glitches that may come along. By all means, keep working out, that helps in relieving stress, bringing down adrenaline and bringing up your Endorphin levels.
I was meditating every day for a good few months and I was l was loving it. Unfortunately work has me quite busy these past few months and I just sort of stopped.
This is more than likely the reason. I just need to slow down again and get back to basics.
Pete, we all get so wrapped up in our lives but I noticed myself, if I stop meditation it's easy to slide back.
We each know how much we need to keep that balance in our lives.Keep up the exercise but also try 5-10min meditations (they are on YouTube) It will help. Wishing you a good day and remember to take out time for you as well.
