What was your previous position? And what was it about the job you feel you couldn't do because of your feelings?

Do you want a job where you don't have to have too much human interaction? Or maybe being engaged with lots of people will keep your mind occupied so you don't focus on your DP? I think a job that will help keep you out of your head something that doesn't allow you to think too much about yourself if you now what I mean?

my previous job was a jewelry store. Yes interacting with people freaked me out because I felt so panicked and not real.....

I have driving anxiety and I do home visits so I have to push through it. Can be very taxing.

Hi there. I do deliveries for Dominos. So im pretty much driving all the time. No itz not the best job because for me driving=thinking. Which is not good for my depersonalization. All my surroundings loom unfamiliar although i know where im at and where to go. Its like I'm just programmed to do it. Yeah its scary but i push through. The key is to not give it the thought. It just feeds off your anxiety and makes it worse. If you feel the need to take a break from work then you do what best suits you. However staying occupied really helps me out. Try finding a hobby or adopt a pet. Something that makes you feel grounded or needed. That always helps. Good luck and best wishes :)
